Lighthouse in Vengurla form a identifiable sign for the fishermen when they are out in the sea at night. Vengurla lighthouse is main tourist attraction as it is located on the hill which stand tall above the jetty and is very difficult to miss this view. It is located 2 km away from Vengurla and has to follow a forest route to reach the place, which gives very awesome experience.

Vengurla Lighthouse can be reached from the port by mechanized boat which has to be engaged but not in rainy season. The journey takes more than 2 hours to reach the foot of the lighthouse. From there steps are curved in the rock which takes you to your destiny.

Lighthouse and staff headquater are located right on top of the hill. From top of the hill and next to lighthouse it provides you a mind blowing scenes as you can see crystal blue water and golden sand of Nivati Beach.
